She fell asleep for 2-2 1/2 hours and did not appear to be uncomfortable at all...her head rested comfortably on the side of the head rest. I like how straight it sits and I feel much safer with this than a backless booster seat. She even commented herself how comfortable it is. But you get what you pay for, there no head support his head slumps over when he falls asleep, My four year old is always messing with the seat belt, putting his arms under instead of over on his shoulder, since it does not line up right with his size, he also leans way up in the seat. I just don't feel it very safe. I stop using and use the ones with the harness, maybe if he older would be better but not for a young one going from carseat to a booster seat. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful Economical and fairly comfie, This review is from: Evenflo AMP High Back Car Seat Booster, Blue Angles (Baby Product) None of the booster seats in general are super duper comfortable - this one seems to have a touch more padding than the Graco. I actually sat in the display one at Target and the Graco one and my son and I both think this one is softer and more comfie to sit in. A lot of the reviews complain about belt positioning - the easy solution is that the shoulder strap is adjustable in most cars (mine is in the mini van), so you may have to raise it higher or lower to get it just right. We use it in the back seat of another family car (a 4 door without an adjustable strap) and no problem - strap is perfectly between neck and end of shoulder. As for the head support complaints - I found if I lightly recline my minivan adjustable middle row seat, we have no problems with this. If you put it in a sedan back seat, they slightly recline due to the seat angle and it's fine!
