Had to use towels to get the base level in our Rav4. The carrier is easy to put in and take out of the car. I would have given it a five star review except for the small fact that when you install the carseat into a car or truck the seat tilts up when locked into the base. My husband had to roll up a towel to put underneath the base to make it sit level. I had to sit in the back with my daughter to hold her head up untill we figured out how to level out the seat. However, I still LOVE the carseat, it locks in securely to the base and the harness fits nice a snug. I also, love the stroller... its very light weight and easy to open and close and the carseat locks into it just as securely as it does into the base!!
