Out of the box, I was happy with the design - nice fabric, good handle grip size (some are too fat for girl hands), nice big canopy, and user-friendly buttons/lock releases. The car seat has some of the highest ratings for safety. I have to say, being a "engineering" type, I still had some difficulty installing the car seat in my car. It took going to AAA to get it installed correctly. AAA offers a FREE service to the public to ensure that car seats are installed correctly.Once I got the help, the car seat is fairly easy to use.
